Planefold is a design-led toy company creating modular play systems for creative play.

We believe creativity is the ability to create something original and meaningful by combining what you know and what you have in a new way. Every child has this capacity, but it needs the right tools, materials, and conditions to grow.

Too much structure kills creativity. Too much freedom loses it.

Toys are uniquely positioned to develop a child’s creativity. But most toys come fully designed, often with only one outcome in mind. We design differently.

Our play systems give children the materials, structure, and freedom to build, solve, change things, try again, and take the play somewhere entirely their own.

Guided enough to begin. Open enough to keep going.
